Teaching is a passion entwined with reflection and refinement. Every day I reflect on and refine my classroom practice. Teachers never stop learning – we respond to what we see and respond again.
I am an English teacher (who has also been a Head of Music and teacher of Sociology in my nearly two decades classroom past). I am also a coaching and research lead at The Halifax Academy, West Yorkshire. When I’m not doing school teaching or coaching and research work, I can be found writing reflective blogs and non-fiction pieces on nature to keep my work and life in balance.
